Our story begins 15 years ago when our founder Mark went for coffee with his dad and uncle. Both men were farmers who had immigrated from Holland in 1989. They told Mark how much quicker projects had been in the old country where precast concrete slabs were easy to find. Inspired to help, Mark decided to try his hand at concrete. He bought and fixed an old mixer and after months of perfecting his mixture and technique, he started selling concrete slabs in his hometown of Barrhead, Alberta.

Today, Mark and his team have sold thousands of precast concrete slabs across Canada and the U.S. (our concrete has even made it as far as Minnesota). The Easy Slab Precast mission remains the same as it did when Mark first started pouring concrete — to create a high-quality sustainable product that makes concrete easier for his customers.
